And here's its modern equivalent.
Ford GTX1. No roof, suspension lowered by about an inch and an uprated engine - not 550bhp, but 700.

IIRC a jalops father was going to buy one of these from the classifieds when it was a "old" and the jalop tried to persuade him but instead went for a duesenberg engine. Still made a killing though.
